I was born and raised in Eagle River, WI. As the
fifth child in a poor family of twelve children I learned to take care of myself
and see where my help was needed. I resolved then that I would be very
successful. After struggling to put myself through two years of college I took a
full time position in sales.
In the mid 70’s I married Paul Seide and we had our only child, Kathleen. We
moved to the Florida Keys within a few years, where I began my real estate
career. My drive to succeed blossomed into several different management
positions, at times overseeing a 30+ person sales force. My direction brought
sales to record levels at several of the companies I worked for.
My daughter moved to Gainesville for college, and remained. We visited her
over the years and fell in love with the area during those vacations. When
we decided to plan our retirement Gainesville was the only option.
Welcome to my retirement…
As you can see I can't sit still for long. I am now a full-time REALTOR
in Gainesville, FL and really enjoying the time I spend working with my
daughter.

I am a full-time REALTOR in Gainesville, FL. My customers love my ability to
understand their needs, and my sincere desire to help them make the choices that
are right for THEM.
I was born in Wisconsin and raised in the Florida Keys. I was certified to scuba
dive at the age of 10 yrs old, and have been doing it ever since. Both of my
parents have been in the real estate business as long as I can remember, and
talk at the dinner table was ALWAYS about sales.
In 1993 I was offered an early admission to UF on a full scholarship, allowing
me to finish high school during my freshman year of college. I jumped at the
chance and during college fell in love with Gainesville. I graduated UF in 1997
with honors, earning a BFA in sculpture.
What does one do with an art degree? Well, I took it to a computer company in
the area and started an accounting career (Yes, it is a bit of a non-sequitur.)
. After years on the job learning data analysis and computer skills I began to
think about other career choices. A couple years earlier my parents had moved to
Gainesville. My mother tried retirement, but within a few months had signed on
at Bosshardt. By the time I was considering my career change her business was
almost more than she could handle.
I have always loved architecture, and viewing homes. With my family history a
real estate career felt like home to me, and the training and skills I picked up
along the way serve me (and you) very well!
