When we designed our company we talked about what we had always wanted in a real estate company when we were sales associates. What would be fair for the broker running a corporation and for the agent who is working hard to make a living for his family?
There were 4 things that we thought were very important…
#1 – Coaching
It’s great for a broker to train their agents on how to avoid lawsuits, but don’t you want more than that?
How about one-on-one sessions to learn from your last appointment so you can improve your next one? What about roll playing, or learning how to connect better with different personality types?
We are committed to providing coaching where and when you need it. That means the typical ‘sales meeting’ is not the only place we help you… we are creating a library of information and videos you can access whenever you want, and of course we are always available by phone for Q&A about specific customers or general know-how.
#2 – Your Leads
Our biggest pet peeve as Sales Associates was losing leads – so we decided that every agent in our office will get their own leads.
Keep Your Leads
- If a lead calls from your sign, you get the customer.
- If they call in because a friend referred them to you, you get the customer.
- Anyone calling the office will be asked where they got the number, so they can be routed to the right agent.
It doesn’t matter whether you are out of town, out working around town, or at home watching a movie with your family. You get your own leads – we aim to protect your business.
#3 – Money
We want our agents to be paid for the hard work they do. They get to pick the commission plan that’s best for their business, and we do our best not to nickel-and-dime them with extra fees.
Do you like stability? If you like a stable and known split rate then you should choose our 70% plan.
Do you want a higher income potential? If you want the potential for higher growth then you should choose our tiered plan.

It starts at 50% and tops out at 80% and we pay you retroactively for all the contracts you already closed during the year every time you hit a higher tier. So, if you make it to the 80% tier you are paid out on all your deal from the whole year at 80% – you get a big bonus check.
We put together what we feel is a great commission-based incentive program. You can choose which plan is best for you.
#4 – Take a Vacation!
El Capitan, Yosemite Valley
Vacations are important and time away from work is nice, but usually rare. We all know it’s important to take time off so you don’t “burn out” and taking the family away for a week is a great way to show that they are important to you.
The problem is that to really get away you usually have to pay another agent a significant percentage to keep an eye on things – even if they only spend an hour making calls for a deal. It’s painful.
We decided to offer our agents the ability to take two weeks of vacation every year without worrying about who will cover their business and how much it will cost them. Kathleen or I will take care of your business when you take a vacation. We’ll take your phone calls, attend inspections, show property, and whatever else is needed to keep your business on track.
When you return we’ll hand it all back to you with a bow on top: all referrals, customers, closings, and any new business that happened to come in. You get it back along with all the income, it’s included in your package as our Sales Associate.
