 Last Saturday evening the Sebastian Ferraro Foundation hosted Noche de Gala, an annual fundraiser to help bring a children’s hospital to Gainesville, FL. The theme of Noche de Gala 2009 was Venetian Masquerade ball, and the event blew away my expectations. This is a description of the evening, if you can get tickets next year I would absolutely recommend attending.

Video of an 82 acre retreat between Gainesville and Jacksonville in North Florida. The property has 2 miles of 8′ fencing to keep in the fallow deer, red deer, & black buck antelope. The white tail deer still come and go as they please, because they can easily jump an 8′ fence! 2 Ponds, stream, and equipment.

Here is a video from a recent meeting in Tallahassee. A panel of REALTORS (R) had the opportunity to sit down with the Governor to talk about the issues facing the real estate industry right now, including things that could be done to help the recovery (like streamlining the short sale process).
