There are four homes under contract. They range in asking price from $229,900 to $535,000. They averaged 110 days on the market.  We wait to see what price they closed at.

Is the market stabilizing? We shall have to wait for the next update to understand the market in this area.

Haile Plantation isn’t a small town but it does have many local shops, and they are often within a short walk from the homes in Haile.  These areas are important to the community and you won’t find yourself anonymously shopping, the proprietors will welcome you by name if you show up more than once or twice.

The village center is a mix of homes and businesses.  That means many of the residents just walk down the block for work each day.

There have been 12 condo sales so far this year in Haile.  They were all 2 bedroom or larger – the smallest was 992 sqft.  They ranged in price from $93k for a Magnolia Park condo built in 1984 to $236k for a 3/3 Village Center condo built in 2005.

Average selling price was $145, and median selling price was $135k,  price per square foot came in at an average of $110 and median of $100.

For Sale

There are 59 condos for sale at the moment.  10 of them, especially the ones offered for the lowest amounts, are short sales. Here is a link to the condos for sale.

• The least expensive is a 1 br in The Village at Haile, and is asking $99,900 – it is a short sale and they usually sell at reduced rates when/if they sell.

• The least expensive “arm’s length” condo for sale in The Links offered at $110,000 for a 965 sqft 1/1 (mls 289538).  Pricing for the 1 bedrooms in The Links go up from there – $124,900, $125,000.

• The least expensive “arm’s length” condo in The Village at Haile is a 2 br at 1088 sqft and is asking $142k – it has been on the market for 2 months.  There are several offered at $160k and up, like you were told.
