Condo sales across Alachua county have slowed down in 2009, currently the Haile area has a 22 month supply of inventory.

Condos for Sale in Haile Plantation

There have been 12 condo sales so far this year in Haile.  They were all 2 bedroom or larger – the smallest was 992 sqft.  They ranged in price from $93k for a Magnolia Park condo built in 1984 to $236k for a 3/3 Village Center condo built in 2005.

Average selling price was $145, and median selling price was $135k,  price per square foot came in at an average of $110 and median of $100.

There are 59 condos for sale at the moment.  10 of them, especially the ones offered for the lowest amounts, are short sales. Here is a link to the condos for sale.

• The least expensive is a 1 br in The Village at Haile, and is asking $99,900 – it is a short sale and they usually sell at reduced rates when/if they sell.

• The least expensive “arm’s length” condo for sale in The Links offered at $110,000 for a 965 sqft 1/1 (mls 289538).  Pricing for the 1 bedrooms in The Links go up from there – $124,900, $125,000.

• The least expensive “arm’s length” condo in The Village at Haile is a 2 br at 1088 sqft and is asking $142k – it has been on the market for 2 months.  There are several offered at $160k and up, like you were told.
