Gainesville schools make Newsweek’s “Top of the Class” List

Newsweek’s report lists schools in the top 6 percent across the US. Several Alachua County schools made the list.

• Eastside High School ranked #5 in Florida and #20 across the US!
• Buchholz High School ranked #86 in the US.
• Gainesville High ranked #377 in the US.

The report ranks schools by the number of “Advanced Placement, Intl. Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2008 divided by the number of graduating seniors.”
