Cobblefield is a neighborhood on the west side of Gainesville, south of Newberry Road. It is both open and private, having some expansive views and some forested buffers.
The neighborhood is in a favored location for professionals working at Shands or North Florida Hospital, and many of the businesses along the Tower Road area. There is a community pool and cabana, as well as a playground and lighted sidewalks.

Cobblefield was developed by the well-respected local builder GW Robinson and most of the homes in the community would be considered luxury homes. The builder is well known for his attention to detail and highly ornamented trim work, so that even homes priced in the $300's are impressive.
The homes were built from about 2003 through 2007. They usually have a modern design, with a formal living room, high ceilings, and many upgraded finishes. The lots range from 1/8 acre to 1 full acre.
